Glen-mary Christopher
Glen-mary lives in Swift Current with her spouse, 2 children, 3 cats, and a (?deaf) guinea pig. The guinea pig is the only one who doesn’t hide when she plays her pipes. She started piping at the age of 7 with the PPCI Army Cadet pipe band in Estevan. After a 27-year piping hiatus (life happens), she started playing again during the pandemic and joined the City of Regina Pipe Band. She is also the Pipe Major of the Swift Current Green Braes Pipes and Drums. Glen-mary is in her final semester of a Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner program and plans to start clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the fall.

Ethan DesChamps
Ethan got his first set of pipes just before his tenth birthday and joined the Ogden Legion Pipe Band the same year, as a novice. He became part of the competitive band the following year. The band is now known as the Foothills Caledonia Youth Pipe Band. Ethan became the pipe major at the start of the 2023/2024 season. One of his favourite things about being a piper is the camaraderie that goes along with being part of the band. He also enjoys solo competitions and was the Grade I aggregate solo winner in Alberta last season. He is looking forward to attending the Saskatchewan Highland Gathering for the first time.
Ethan is 16 years old and attends high school in Calgary. Outside of his interest in music, he also has a keen interest in cars and is an avid hockey fan.

Andrew Hill
Andrew Hill began his piping career in 2000, following in the footsteps of the four generations of Hills that came before him. He has played with a number of bands over the years, including The Pipes and Drums of Lindsay, Windsor Police, Durham Police, and acted as P/S of the Scottish Society of Windsor. He has now been part of North Stratton since 2015.
Piping has always been a family affair for Andrew, as he has played alongside his father, grandfather, two uncles, brother, and cousin on pipes and snare drum. Andrew credits much of his piping success to his father, Colin Hill, former Pipe Major of the grade 1 Scotsaire Pipe Band.
Andrew is excited for the opportunity to play in the Prairie Piping Invitational and is looking forward to hearing some great medleys from his fellow competitors.
